DATES OF EXCEPTION: JULY 4, & WEEKENDS OF MEMORIAL DAY & LABOR DAY
Materials will be accepted from Town of Kirkland reisdents or construction companies doing work for them only. Sign in is required each trip, with a limit of five (5) visits per year for wood, trash, construction or roofing materials. Although there will be someone on duty to direct distribution of items into proper containers each date of operation, this a self-unloading operation. Permission to unload must be given by one of the workers. There is a charge for construction/roofing materials, wood and trash, tires, and appliances with refrigerants. Please refer to the Document for specifics. Concrete, hard fill, wood and green material disposal is available but in a separate area, workers will give directions. Items not accepted include: paints, chemicals, spray cans and household garbage & recyclables such as cardboard, plastic & glass. The Town of Kirkland offers this service to town residents, exclusive of the Village of Clinton, which has weekly pick up of such items.
